How to fix road plates to a bridge deck when the flange is worn?
In the summer of 2017, VolkerRail asked the iTanks Network to brainstorm about this challenge. The only important condition that the company gave was that traffic would not be affected by implementing the solution. During an innovation session organized by Jules Dock, numerous ideas emerged. The unique mix of VolkerRail employees and external professionals from the iTanks network resulted in some surprisingly technical solutions in a short amount of time. After the brainstorm sessions ended, one of the solutions was successfully applied.
