De Solution

The NFC Tag is a passive data-storage tag that can be attached to any asset. Easily accessible via NFC, recorded information is viewed on a handheld reader or tablet. This process allows operators to quickly assign and identify assets and their linked data while supplying information into either a central dashboard or a DCS. Assets will have a digital fingerprint. Utilising this method ensures faster implementation of associated IoT devices and ensures that many more assets can be correctly and efficiently logged into any system, avoiding an otherwise lengthy and error-prone process via a digital handshake.

Retrofittable tags that allow assets to be paired with IIoT devices easily and fast. Targeted monitoring of the equipment is critical to prevent failures and optimise asset management at industrial sites. TWTG’s NEON NFC Tag can be paired easily with any industrial asset to provide insight and information. Most NFC tags are used within every day operations, within the taxing environment of a Refinery or a Tank Terminal. Hence the requirements for explosion safety and the respective certifications are very stringent. The NEON NFC Tag has received the ATEX / IECEx Zone 0 certification, which allows it to be used worryfree within these sites, providing safety and certainty to any operating personnel.
