Join Platform Zero during their monthly event (on the second Thursday every month) for an informative session about “Partnering for Decarbonising the Shipping Supply Chain”. Through their monthly event, Platform Zero aims to showcase new innovations from the energy & maritime field and established companies share knowledge and give insights into their plans and strategy.

This edition, the following experts will share their insights;

• Tonny Westerlaken, Team Lead Category management at Van Oord. He will share insights about Van Oord’s roadmap regarding decarbonization in the supply chain. This is part of Van Oord’s strategy aligned with the Science-Based Targets ininatives (SBTi), an iniative in harmony with the goals of the Paris Agreement
• Rolf Bakker, Business Development Manager at Value Carbon a sister company of Value Maritime. Value Carbon has developed an Onboard Carbon Capture system for vessels and can store carbon on board. Once connected to shore, they remove the carbon from the liquid. Rolf is responsible for developing the land based business for Onboard Carbon Capture. This includes handling logistics up until the different outlets. He will expose insights on the cruciality of partnerships to close the loop by building connections for carbon utilization and removal.
