Reym acquired by REMONDIS Maintenance & Services Group

REMONDIS Maintenance & Services Group has acquired Reym B.V. from Renewi plc. with effect from September 10, 2019.

Renewi plc announced at the end of last year that it would like to sell to Reym in order to be able to fully focus on its recycling activities in the Benelux.

Reym is one of the market leaders in industrial cleaning, transport and waste management in the Netherlands and exists from 11 locations in the Netherlands and one location in Germany. REMONDIS Maintenance & Services Group operates internationally. The group of companies is one of the leading industrial service companies in Europe and offers various special services for the cleaning and maintenance of industrial installations and installation parts, including scaffolding, surface engineering and insulation as well as maintenance activities. REMONDIS Maintenance & Services is part of the REMONDIS Group, one of the world’s largest service providers in the field of recycling, service and water.

Jonny Kappen, director of Reym, is pleased with the acquisition. “With our new shareholder REMONDIS Maintenance & Services Group, we can offer existing and new clients high-quality services and possibly expand them. We will continue to work together with our former sister company ATM.”

Reym will retain its trade name and become part of the REMONDIS Maintenance & Services Group – Reym’s head office will remain in central Amersfoort.
